1. Learning to Love Yourself: Building a Positive Body Image

Are you tired of diets that don't work? Feeling uncomfortable about your weight or your body? Join a 10-week support group for women who want to improve and acquire long-lasting eating habits that enabling you to:

  • Reconnect to your body and improve your health.
  • Dispel shame and other negative feelings about your body.
  • Improve self-esteem and confidence levels.

2. Never Too Late: Creating the Life You Want

Are you unhappy with your life or stuck in rut? This is a support group for women in search of personal and life change.

In this 10-week group we will:

  • Assess what's working and what's not.
  • Identify what you want and need.
  • Develop strategies for moving forward.
  • Learn how to communicate more powerfully.
  • Improve your self-esteem, develop more confidence.
  • Connect with others who understand.
  • Make a realistic plan for your future.
  • Grow and change to build a better life.

3. Make Your Marriage Work

In this couples group we will work on strengthening your relationship and building a loving home with your partner.

During the 10-week group we will work towards:

  • Resolving conflicts.
  • Dealing with extended family issues.
  • Communicate about important issues such as money, sex, careers, children, religious traditions, and more.

4. Step-Parenting Support Group

This group is designed for remarried couples and/or individuals who are finding it difficult to make their stepparent/stepchild relationships work.

During this 10-week, structured support group we will work on:

  • Resolving of conflicts arising from transitioning from one family unit to another.
  • "Yours", "ours", and "mine" issues.
  • Emotional stages involved in building a positive stepparent/stepchild relationship.
  • Eliminating of feelings of exclusion
  • Other issues of concern to stepparents and stepchildren.

5. Single Parent Support Group

This is a group designed for single male or female parents with children of any age, addressing parenting issues and other personal issues of parents stemming from single parenthood.

Over 10 weeks we will discuss:

  • Parenting dilemmas.
  • Issues related to your children's and your relationship with the other parent.
  • Issues related to introducing new relationships to the children.
  • Other relevant issues introduced by group members.

6. Women's Support Group

This 10 weeks is designed for women who are looking for change. This personal growth group will enable an exchange of ideas and emotional support in a safe and nurturing environment. In particular, we will address:

  • How to become more assertive.
  • How to manage stress.

  • Other relevant issues introduced by group members.
